**This event has now happened** In support of the fantastic work of the Lung Cancer Foundation I decided to do a sponsored Head Shave. In memory of my fantasic Grandma, my Dad (a hairdresser before you worry!) shaved my hair off in front of an audience at Northumbria Students Union. As I am writing this (April 5th) we have £970 in online donations and £190 offline, plus money to be counted that was put in the collection tins on the day! This is fantastic and means I have exceeded my target! Thank you so much to everyone who supported me.Updates

17th February 2011First day of going 'official' with the head shave, there's no turning back now!!
People seem really supportive of the idea, or sympathetic at my madness - I can't tell which, but I don't really mind as long as we make loads of money for the charity. It's close to my heart...and now close to my head!
